Day 1 of 10: Arrival Date
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our professional guide will warmly welcome you. You’ll then be transported to Arusha, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night at Mount Meru Game Lodge.
Day 2 of 10: Arusha to Tarangire
Embark on the first day of our journey as we venture to Tarangire National Park. Known for its majestic elephants, towering Baobab trees, and the iconic Tarangire River, this park offers a full day of thrilling game drives. Enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic picnic site in the heart of the bush, followed by a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at Maramboi Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 3 of 10: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
As the morning unfolds, we bid farewell to Tarangire and set our course for the iconic Serengeti National Park. Crossing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority through Loduare Gate, our journey provides a fantastic opportunity to witness wildlife in their natural habitat, including migrating wildebeests, zebras, impalas, and lions.
We pause for a picnic lunch at the entrance of Serengeti National Park (Naabi Gate), where a trail leads to a hilltop offering breathtaking views of the renowned Serengeti. Continuing our game drive, we make our way to Kubukubu Luxury Tented Camp for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 of 10: Serengeti full day
Embark on an immersive full-day safari adventure in the Serengeti, where the expansive park unfolds its diverse wonders. Begin your day with a morning game drive, extending into the afternoon, allowing ample time for comprehensive wildlife observation.
Returning to the lodge for a hot lunch and a brief siesta, the late afternoon calls for another game drive, providing optimal conditions for capturing remarkable animal encounters and witnessing the stunning Serengeti sunset. Conclude your day with dinner and a restful overnight stay at Kubukubu Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 5 of 10: Full Day Serengeti game drive
Explore the renowned Serengeti National Park, celebrated for its annual migration of over 1.5 million white-bearded (or brindled) wildebeest and 250,000 zebras. As you embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch, witness the abundance of wildlife, including numerous Nile crocodiles and the elusive honey badger. Capture the essence of the Serengeti’s natural spectacle and conclude your day with dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at Kubukubu Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 6 of 10: Full Day Serengeti game drive
Embark on another exciting day in the Serengeti National Park after a hearty breakfast. This game drive provides another opportunity to encounter wildlife, possibly spotting animals not seen in the previous days. The Serengeti is home to the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – and today’s adventure may offer glimpses of all these iconic species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot, followed by an afternoon game drive. Return to Kubukubu Luxury Tented Camp for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.
Day 7 of 10: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
Embark on a morning journey, capturing the Serengeti’s abundant wildlife in the early light. Revel in the game drive through the rolling grasslands, observing a variety of animals, including zebras, impalas, and hippos in their pools. Following lunch at a scenic picnic site, venture towards the Ngorongoro Crater. As you approach the crater’s edge, a breathtaking view unfolds. The approximately 20 km wide crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to over 25,000 animals. En route, visit a Maasai Boma, and later, head to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge to witness the sunset over the crater.
Day 8 of 10: Ngorongoro – Lake Eyasi
Start your day with an early morning breakfast, followed by a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. As a highly visited African attraction, this massive, inactive volcanic caldera is the world’s largest. Here, you’ll encounter a diverse array of wildlife, including endangered rhinos, mountain reedbuck, jackals, and numerous bird species. Keep an eye out for white pelicans and flamingos around Lake Ndutu and Lake Magadi. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater and embark on a short afternoon game drive before heading to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight at Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp.
Day 9 of 10: Lake Eyasi – Arusha
Embrace the enchanting surroundings of Lake Eyasi, a mildly alkaline lake. Enjoy leisurely walks along the shores, immersing yourself in the serene atmosphere, and explore areas adorned with ancient Baobab trees. Engage in a unique hunting expedition with a Hadzabe family, the last remaining hunter-gatherers in Africa, witnessing their remarkable tracking and hunting skills for small game. The Hadzabe and Datoga people maintain their traditional lifestyle, living off hunting and gathering wild fruits. Gain insights into their cultural practices during this immersive experience. Following the Lake Eyasi tour, return to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at Mount Meru Game Lodge.

Wonderful safari experience – highly recommended
The two of us had an absolutely wonderful time for almost three weeks on our roadtrip through Tanzania, visiting several parks. We stayed overnight at most lovely and sometimes remote situated tented-camps. The Tanzanian hosts were always very friendly and helpful. We saw the amazing nature, many, many animals and also the culture of the people.
We thank owner Didas and his team a lot for the personal attention, advice and service, in advance and throughout our trip.
Asante sana to all of you!
