Lemosho Route
This is the most remote route to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro. After taking you through beautiful forests and moorlands, it crosses the Shira Plateau to meet up with the Machame Route.
Machame Route
The Machame route begins from the south, then heads east, traversing underneath Kilimanjaro’s southern ice field before summiting. This is one of the most popular routes.
Marangu Route
Marangu is the most popular route taken by trekkers to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro. It takes you at a gentle pace through forests, moorlands, and then across a high-altitude desert.
Rongai Route
This route is considered by many as the easiest route to reach the Summit of Mt Kilimanjaro. The route ascends from the north-eastern side of the mountain, with unspoiled natural beauty.
Umbwe Route
Umbwe route is one of the most challenging routes to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. We recommend it to be done in 6 or 7 days so as clients can stay at Baranco for acclimatisation.
