Day 1 of 5: Arrival Date
Commence your safari with a pickup from Arusha, heading to Lake Manyara National Park renowned for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, hippos, giraffes, flamingos, and the unique tree-climbing lions. Enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.
Day 2 of 5: Lake Manyara Park – Serengeti National Park
Embark on the day by leaving the lodge in the morning, making your way to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (Loduare Gate). The journey presents a fantastic opportunity to observe animals in their natural habitat, often witnessing migrations of wildebeests, zebras, impalas, and lions. A picnic lunch awaits you at the entrance of Serengeti National Park (Naabi Gate), where you can also explore a trail leading to a hilltop, providing breathtaking views of the renowned Serengeti. As you continue the game drive, anticipate a memorable experience before heading to GNU Migration Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 of 5: Serengeti full day
Immerse yourself in a full day of game driving in the Serengeti, a park renowned for its abundant wildlife, requiring ample time for comprehensive game viewing. Depart from the camp for a morning game drive extending into the afternoon. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at the designated picnic site, then continue with the afternoon game drive, offering excellent opportunities for capturing remarkable images of wildlife and the stunning sunset. Return to GNU Migration Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 of 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
Embark on an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, capturing the rich tapestry of wildlife as the sun graces the plains. Explore the park’s diverse landscapes, spotting wildlife such as zebras, impalas, and hippos in their natural habitats. As the day progresses, journey towards Ngorongoro, making a stop to visit the Maasai Boma along the way. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at GNU Ndutu Camp, situated in the heart of the wilderness.
Day 5 of 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Start your day with an early breakfast before descending to the Ngorongoro Crater, a remarkable African attraction and the world’s largest inactive, unbroken, and unfilled volcanic caldera. Explore the crater’s diverse ecosystems and encounter a variety of mammals, including endangered rhinos, mountain reedbuck, jackals, and numerous bird species such as white pelicans and flamingos around Lake Ndutu and Lake Magadi. After a rewarding safari experience, depart from the park based on your departure flight.

Wonderful safari experience – highly recommended
The two of us had an absolutely wonderful time for almost three weeks on our roadtrip through Tanzania, visiting several parks. We stayed overnight at most lovely and sometimes remote situated tented-camps. The Tanzanian hosts were always very friendly and helpful. We saw the amazing nature, many, many animals and also the culture of the people.
We thank owner Didas and his team a lot for the personal attention, advice and service, in advance and throughout our trip.
