Day 1 of 6: Arrival Date
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our professional guide will be ready to welcome you. Enjoy a comfortable drive to Arusha, where an evening of dinner and overnight awaits you at the esteemed Arusha Serena Hotel. This marks the beginning of your six-day adventure, filled with excitement and luxury in Tanzania’s stunning landscapes.
Day 2 of 6: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Embark on an exciting journey from your lodge in the morning, heading to Lake Manyara National Park. Nestled in the Great Rift Valley, the park encompasses the northwest bank and a portion of the alkaline Lake Manyara. Renowned for its flamingos, pelicans, and cormorants, the park is a haven for bird enthusiasts, boasting a diverse range of bird species.
Beyond the rich birdlife, Lake Manyara is home to the “Big Game.” Keep an eye out for elephants in the wooded regions, and with luck, you might spot the distinctive behavior of tree-climbing lions, a unique phenomenon attributed to this park. Baboons and vervet monkeys frolic in the forested areas, while giraffes graze on fresh leaves, and various antelope species browse for shoots in more open spaces.
Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay at the enchanting Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, surrounded by the natural wonders of this unique national park. Get ready for more adventures on the following days of your six-day journey.
Day 3 of 6: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park
As the morning unfolds, bid farewell to Lake Manyara and set out from the lodge towards Serengeti National Park, traversing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (Loduare Gate). The journey provides a splendid opportunity to witness animals in their natural habitat, especially during migration, with wildebeests, zebras, impalas, and lions gracing the scenery.
A picturesque picnic lunch awaits at the entrance of Serengeti National Park (Naabi Gate), where a trail leads to a hilltop offering breathtaking views over the iconic Serengeti plains. Enjoy a game drive en-route, capturing glimpses of the park’s diverse wildlife.
In the evening, we’ll head to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay. Embrace the enchanting beauty of the Serengeti and anticipate more thrilling wildlife encounters on the days ahead.
Day 4 of 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
Begin your day with a morning journey, capturing the abundance of wildlife as the sun rises over the Serengeti plains. Embark on a captivating game drive through the rolling grasslands of Serengeti National Park, encountering diverse wildlife, including zebras, impalas, and hippos in their tranquil pools.
As the day progresses, we’ll make our way to Ngorongoro, with a special visit to the Maasai Boma along the route. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural traditions of the Maasai people, gaining insights into their way of life.
In the evening, settle in at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay. Reflect on the day’s wildlife adventures and cultural encounters as you prepare for more discoveries in the Ngorongoro Crater on the following day of your remarkable journey.
Day 5 of 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Start your day with an early morning breakfast, followed by a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. This renowned African attraction stands as the world’s largest inactive, unbroken, and unfilled volcanic caldera. Brace yourself for a remarkable experience as you encounter a multitude of mammals, including the endangered rhinos, mountain reedbuck, jackals, and a diverse array of bird species, with white pelicans and flamingos gracing the shores of Lake Ndutu and Lake Magadi.
Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst this stunning setting and embark on a short afternoon game drive to capture more of the crater’s wonders. As the day concludes, we’ll journey back to Arusha for a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay at the welcoming Arusha Serena Hotel. Reflect on the extraordinary wildlife encounters and the unique beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater during this penultimate day of your adventure.

Wonderful safari experience – highly recommended
The two of us had an absolutely wonderful time for almost three weeks on our roadtrip through Tanzania, visiting several parks. We stayed overnight at most lovely and sometimes remote situated tented-camps. The Tanzanian hosts were always very friendly and helpful. We saw the amazing nature, many, many animals and also the culture of the people.
We thank owner Didas and his team a lot for the personal attention, advice and service, in advance and throughout our trip.
Asante sana to all of you!
